The British Travel Awards 2012
Phew! If you follow us on twitter you'll know we've had a bit of a whirlwind week! Last Thursday we were at The British Travel Awards as part of FST's brand new 'Introducing' scheme in which they promote and nurture creative talent. We created 6 original limited edition designs especially for the awards ceremony and were handing copies of these out as well as badge packs. You can view the 6 designs and read more about 'FST Introducing' here.
When we showed up early on Thursday to set up our stand we were expecting a small area near the front doors. What we actually got was a HUGE space right inside the venue and we were able to spread out our massive 6 framed A0 prints all over the place...which was good because with our giant Brighton beach backdrop, ice cream stand and rowing boat we seriously needed the space!
As if all this wasn't enough! We also had postcards of each design as placeholders on every table and FST created an AMAZING animation of the designs which was shown on the big screen during the awards.
We are sooooo grateful to FST for choosing to work with us for such a prestigious event and also for all the hard work everyone put in behind the scenes. The night was such a success and we were totally blown away by it all! Not to mention ridiculously excited to meet Hugh Dennis! ;o)
Photos 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 12 are all by Steve Dunlop. All others are our own.
