The First Fairy Tale Fair!
Hello! Have been meaning to do this post for aggeess but boring every day life kept getting in the way! On the 18th of August we took part in the first ever Fairy Tale Fair and it was MAGIC! We weren't sure what to expect from a fair that was a wee bit out of town but the organisation and marketing of the whole thing was AMAZING (all down to the fantastic Claire Montgomery! Check out here blog here) and there was a fantastic atmosphere with lots of young families, brilliant variety of stalls, cakes, candy floss and THE BEST face painting we've ever seen!
We also showcased our brand new range of handmade stamp relief prints (see below!) There are 7 in total and have just been added to our Etsy shop today!
Lovely paper pom poms and bunting decor. The teas and cakes were organised by Mayflower Events and were served with their gorgeous vintage crockery!
Craft fair friend! The lovely Lucy of Little Things I Make :o) We LOVE Lucy's foxes...and her bunnies, bears and lizards! Oh..and check out her AMAZING Fish 'n' Chips brooches below!
I'm not going to lie...we were also very envious of Lucy's bunny ear hat! (though not of the poor now earless bunny!) You can find Lucy's blog here and here Etsy shop here!
Another Brighton fave - Jessie Jumbles! Jessie uses vintage fabric and makes all manner of lovely little buttons, hair clips, earrings and more! We particularly love the seaside themed ones above! You can visit Jessie's website here.
We also had the pleasure to meet for the first time The Big Forest! (see below) How amazing are their bears?! I'm a bit in love with the little guy with the camera! You can visit The Big Forest blog here and Etsy shop here.
There may well be another Fairy Tale Fair before Christmas and if so we shall be there with (jingle) bells on! To keep up to date with this magic event you can follow their blog, twitter and facebook!
Now we have to get ready for the EPIC Renegade Craft Fair in the Truman Brewery, East London which is on the 15th and 16th of September....LOTS to do!
