A very big house in the country...

Hello! Sorry for recent blog neglect! I was really ill for a few days (Jam has it now, booo!)  and then if you follow us on twitter/instagram you'll know that we've just had a little holiday to the countryside. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in this AMAZING massive cottage in a beautiful little village near Bath which belongs to the owner of the company I currently work for. Our days were spent lazing around in the beautiful garden, playing snooker in the games room (well, Jam playing snooker, me attempting to just hit a ball..) and generally pretending we'd won the lotto and retired to the country! Here is our trip in pics...

Brighton's Great Escape 2012 Starts today! YAY. Here are some super quick highlights of last year...

Brighton Children's Parade

Today was the Children's Parade in Brighton and I was soooo relieved to have the day off work! We stumbled across it last year and our tiny minds were blown by the sheer size and amazingness of the whole thing! It is certainly a far cry from the little Village Festival procession I walked in every year when I was little (I remember being a dinosaur with a cardboard box on my head..) This is an all-singing, all-dancing, all-drumming and all-whistleblowing carnival! And it goes on foreveeeeeer. I think about 80 different schools/youth groups. We spotted our friend Jen with her school and their Wall-E inspired float..so cute! It almost makes you want to pop some sprogs out so you can send them off to school in Brighton and get to walk in the parade with them!!
