hello sunshine!

Hurray! It's been a beautiful day here in Brighton after what seems like a lifetime of wind and rain. As it was my day off today I decided to head for the beach and make the most of this bright spell (the Weatherman tells me it won't last, after all). I love days like this when you've pretty much got the whole beach to yourself.

Whilst looking for interesting things that the tide had washed in I noticed this funny bit of seaweed wiggling around... On closer inspection it turned out to be this magical sea creature!! I think it's a Pipefish..? I took a quick photo and then plopped him back in the sea and he quickly swam away. Luckily I found him before the greedy gulls did!

I thought I'd take a little stroll along to the Bandstand...and then a bit further to the beach huts and before I knew I'd walked the whole promenade all the way to FatBoySlim's house! It was so lovely and peaceful. I don't think I could ever take living here for granted!

  2. It's a pipefish! :o)
But after I realised it wasn't seaweed my first thought was "what's that weird stretched out seahorse?!"
The beach is lovely when it's not unbearably windy!

  3. Looks like a lovely sunny day - Sheffield was definitely a lot greyer! I love Brighton. My auntie lives down there, but I don't get to visit enough. I should makemore time because there's so much about Brighton, and I have only just scratched the surface.
